When does the one-year term of a paid subscriptions start? What happens when it expires?

A paid subscription is valid from the date you pay for the subscription, regardless of when your first poll is deployed.  Tip:  You can use a free account to set up your poll's ballot questionnaire, and settings, import your voter list, and other steps, before you pay.  Once you are ready to deploy your poll for review, on the Summary tab of that poll, you will see whether you need to upgrade your subscription first - and if you do, the reason(s) why.  You can pay then, which will make the subscription term start later in the process.

You will get an emailed reminder before your paid subscription expires, and an opportunity for an early bird discount on your renewal, if you renew before the expiration date.  If you do not renew before your paid subscription’s expiration date, your account will be automatically converted to a free account, and you will have whatever capabilities are currently offered to free accounts.  Your information will continue to be stored in our system and available to you, so long as you continue to use your account periodically.   For information about how long we will store your information in your free account, please see this article.
