When does the one-year term of a paid subscriptions start? What happens when it expires?

A paid subscription is valid from the date you pay for the subscription, regardless of when your first poll is deployed. Tip: You can use a free account to set up your poll's ballot questionnaire, and settings, import your voter list, and other steps, before you pay. Can we use BallotBox even though we don’t have good email addresses for our voters?

To cast a ballot in BallotBox, each voter will need a valid email address. That is the primary way BallotBox authenticates each voter – ensuring with reasonable certainty that we can know who the person is who cast that ballot. For a voter to get a ballot link, BallotBox must have a valid email address for that voter. What hours is the BallotBox support team available?

BallotBox personnel are available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Central time, Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Paid subscribers can contact support by logging into their BallotBox Admin account, and clicking the Help / Support links available there.

Can my voters cast their ballots on a mobile phone or a tablet?

Yes, BallotBox supports voting on the current versions of major mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, and recent Android devices. Our administrative interfaces are designed to be used on Windows and Macintosh computers, using modern web browsers, and may not work as well on mobile devices.

What do I need to have to be able to access BallotBox to administer a Poll? What do my voters need to have?

BallotBox supports voting on the current versions of major mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, and recent Android devices. Anyone accessing BallotBox for any reason (Admin, Officer, or voter) would, of course, need a broadband Internet connection.

Is an “Unlimited” subscription really unlimited?

A free BallotBox account can only have one active poll at a time. A paid subscription can have as many active polls as you wish, subject to the following two limitations: * You must honor the limits on the number of voters in your subscription.
